A detailed examination of the law on intellectual property (IP), particularly trademarks, copyrights and patents. The course takes up the rules and procedure for registration, maintenance and cancellation of different types of IP, as well as the rights acquired by holders of IP rights. The course also takes up the procedure on enforcement of IP rights such as inter-partes proceedings, infringement cases, and other cases of violation of IP rights.
